While there are still some days left for the release of Panchayat Season 3, fans are already speculating about future seasons of the show. Adding to their excitement, the show’s director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, recently confirmed that the beloved series will indeed have more seasons.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Deepak shared that while the makers have a broad idea of the show’s storyline, they fine-tune the details while shooting each season. He said, “We never let ourselves get swayed by the response we are getting, but from Season 2, we have a broader idea of where the story is going and how many seasons it will take to tell that story. So, we have planned that already.”

He added, “Now, the garnishing and detailing that we have to do is done from season to season. But we have a broad idea of where things are going to go.” When asked if the show would continue further, he responded, “Yes, of course.”

Earlier, the makers released the trailer of the show, which saw Jitendra Kumar’s character ‘Sachiv Ji’ returning to Phulera after a local politician ordered his transfer following a fight with Neena Gupta’s character, Pradhan, and Raghubir Yadav’s character, Brij Bhushan. The trailer showcases Phulera going through political tussles, resulting in a lot of comedy and heartwarming moments.

Panchayat portrays village life through the perspective of an engineering graduate who takes up the role of a panchayat secretary due to limited job prospects. The show stars Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Jitendra Kumar, Faisal Malik and Chandan Roy, who is also the writer of the show, in lead roles. It will release on May 28.
