The collaboration has happened, but with a twist. Filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan have come together for a new project, but not in the capacity they are known for. Karan, instead of directing his actor friend, is seen featuring alongside him in a new ad.

The ad begins with Shah Rukh in his car, waving to fans, when Karan interrupts him, asking how can he agree to do the ad for Myntra. Shah Rukh then lists his reason, asking Karan why does he have a problem with it.

“Problem? It is that if everyone starts to wear global brands and becomes fashionable, then who will look at me?” he says as Shah Rukh laughs. Karan continues, “Sorry Shah Rukh, as your favourite director, I am not allowing you to do this shoot.”

Shah Rukh then cuts him and says, “Karan”, wanting to make his point, as the filmmaker keeps saying no. The back and forth continues before Karan shuts off his ears.
