Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most awaited films of the year, and fans are eagerly looking forward to its release in theaters. The makers recently shared the fourth episode of the series From Skratch on social media, which offers a glimpse into the making of Kalki 2898 AD.
In the video, Prabhas, who plays Bhairava, introduces his futuristic car named Bujji from the film and the team also gave a glimpse of the making of Bujji–the ‘most complicated’ vehicle. The video shows how the futuristic vehicle is controlled by a brain, just like a human body. It also features shots of the car’s manufacturing process and Prabhas also makes an appearance. According to reports, Keerthy Suresh has lent her voice to Bujji.
One of the brains behind Bujji said, “It already looks very complicated. It is going to be very challenging to make it.” Director Nag Ashwin then explained that Bujji’s body is controlled by a brain, just like that of a human body. In a hilarious shot, Bujji makes fun of how the film’s release is being delayed. Bujji says to Nag, “Nobody is following the deadline.”
When team members were asked to describe Bujji, they said, “Best companion, superhero, Bhairava’s best-friend.” Towards the end, when a dejected Bujji says, “I will live without a body,” Prabhas appears and says, “Your time has started Bujji.” Then there are glimpses of the actor unveiling his futuristic car. However, it will be fully revealed on May 22.
Kalki 2898 AD will be released on June 27, 2024. It was recently revealed that Amitabh Bachchan is set to play the role of the immortal Ashwatthama in the film. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Kamal Hassan and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
