While actors across industries aggressively promote their films, Tamil star Ajith Kumar chooses to go the opposite way. The actor doesn’t promote his films by giving interviews or attending launch events. Yet, his market continues to sustain. Now, a viral stunt video of Ajith from the sets of his upcoming film Vidaamuyarchi seems enough to create all the hype for the film, as it has left the netizens in shock.

Lyca Productions unveiled videos of the stunt shot from three different angles. One footage showed the insides of the car during the stunt, the second clip was a long shot of the car, and drone footage covered the whole sequence.

In the video, Ajith is seen driving a green Hummer, and Aarav is tied next to him in the car. The actor intentionally swerves the car and topples it. Both the actors can be seen bracing for impact as the car’s roof crumbles from within, which makes up for a shocking watch. Ajith can also be heard giving a cue to Aarav before toppling the vehicle. The drone footage shows the crew members rushing to the car. However, both the actors can be heard saying they are all right.

The caption of the post read, “Bravery knows no bounds! Witness Ajith Kumar’s fearless dedication as he takes on a daring stunt sequence in #VidaaMuyarchi without any stunt double (sic).”

The stunt has left fans flabbergasted. A user asked Ajith to not risk his life for films. “We don’t want this type of risk,” “Dedication Level of Thala,” “Thala for a reason,” were some of the comments in the post.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi has been in the making for the past several months in Azerbaijan and parts of India. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film also stars Regina Cassandra and Trisha in pivotal roles. There were many complaints from the fans that the makers weren’t promoting the film enough. The new stunt video has now ended all such complaints.
