Animal co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna have teamed up again for a funny commercial promoting a soft drink. The duo, who made headlines for starring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, brought a light-hearted touch to the new ad, surprising fans. Rashmika took to her Instagram handle and shared the new ad along with the caption, “In today’s heat need me a super duper refresher like this.”

The ad starts with Ranbir, wearing funky clothes with a clear raincoat, surrounded by lots of 7UP bottles, loudly saying Khandala Waterfalls to get attention. Rashmika sees this and questions the idea of a Khandala Waterfall being far away. With Bachna Ae Haseeno music playing in the background, Ranbir gets a cold drink from the fridge and offers it to Rashmika. After she drinks it, she feels refreshed, imagining the Khandala waterfall.

Internet users had mixed reactions to the new ad. One of the fans said, “Geetanjali and Ranvijay in parallel universe.” Another wrote, “It was great to see both of them in an advertisement.”

Rashmika had previously collaborated with Anirudh Ravichander for the brand. The ad opens in a busy outdoor restaurant that looks like a food truck park. Rashmika checks out the menu and chats with chef Anirudh and wants something spicy. When she takes a bite of the spicy dish, she feels the heat, but she still wants more. She looks for something to cool her down. Then, Anirudh surprises her with a special delivery from a fire engine, showing how spicy food can be balanced with a refreshing drink.
