Deepika Padukone showcased her culinary talents during the lockdown, with husband and actor Ranveer Singh often sharing her cooking adventures on social media. However, Deepika’s passion for cooking traces back to her younger years. The Chhapaak actor recently shared an old video where she humorously recounted her first cooking experience.

The clip dates back to 2016, during Deepika’s trip to Madrid, Spain, for the IIFA awards. In the video, Deepika collaborated with a Spanish chef to create a delectable meal using local ingredients. Amidst the cooking, she shared a hilarious childhood memory of attempting to cook eggs with her friends over an open fire.

She recalled, “When I was in school there was this incident when me and my friends decided to cook eggs. We took bricks and we created our own fire. We decided to bring some eggs from our apartments and everything was ready. The fire was ready, the ingredients were all done and the last step where we only had to put the eggs in…we were like where are the eggs? I was like let’s go up and get some more eggs and the moment I stood up I realised I sat on the eggs.”
