“Mad, you are mad Kapil,” chuckled Neetu Kapoor, addressing comedian Kapil Sharma during a hilarious exchange on The Great Indian Kapil Show. With the trailer of the much-anticipated sketch comedy show already making waves, the makers have now treated fans with a sneak peek from the first episode, featuring Neetu, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

The promotional clip kicks off by introducing the Kapoor family, with Ranbir descending the stairs with Riddhima and Neetu. The trio then proceeds to inaugurate Kapil’s new show, setting the stage for a series of hilarious banter with the comedian. During the interaction, when Kapil quizzed Ranbir about gifting Riddhima’s dresses to his girlfriends, the actor said, “Maine toh mummy ki jewellery bhi di thi (I also gifted my mom’s jewellery).”

In the middle of the conversation, Archana Puran Singh inquired whether Ranbir has tackled diaper duties for his daughter Raha. Though Ranbir didn’t confirm the same, he called himself “the burp specialist.” Neetu Kapoor chimed in, sharing anecdotes about Ranbir’s tender moments with his daughter. Ranbir also expressed his eagerness to bring Raha on Kapil’s show.

Sunil Grover, reprising his role as ‘Gutthi’ after a hiatus since their fallout in 2017, shared a rib-tickling scene with Neetu Kapoor. Previously, Neetu had gifted her bangles to Gutthi, and in the latest episode, Gutthi revealed that she sold those bangles for a new mobile phone.

Sunil Grover, renowned for his portrayal of iconic characters like Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati on The Kapil Sharma Show, left the show in 2018 following a rift with Kapil Sharma, stemming from an altercation during a flight back to Mumbai after a show in Australia.

Apart from Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma, the show also stars Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek. The Great Indian Kapil Show is set to stream on Netflix starting March 30, airing on Saturdays at 8 pm.
