The recent episode of Shark Tank India 3 featured mother-daughter entrepreneurs presenting their sustainable fashion brand ‘Why so Blue’ to the ‘sharks’. They showcased their co-ord sets, highlighting the brand’s commitment to supporting artisans and promoting traditional hand-block printing techniques.

While Vineeta Singh admired the collection and championed the brand’s story, Radhika Gupta expressed skepticism about the price point of the co-ord sets. She compared them to similar sets available on platforms like Myntra and Amazon, which were significantly cheaper.

Vineeta and Radhika found themselves in disagreement, with Radhika viewing the collection as suitable only for loungewear, while Vineeta defended it as appropriate for outdoor wear. Radhika said, “It’s a good lounge wear. Something that I would wear at home.” Vineeta quickly came in support of the entrepreneurs and said, “This is to be worn outside. Whether you like the fashion or not, that’s a different story.” However, when Aman asked Vineeta if she would wear these clothes outside, she refused stating that traditional prints isn’t her style.

Despite initial interest, all the ‘sharks’ swiftly withdrew from investing in the brand. Aman Gupta expressed his inability to comprehend the fashion aspect, stating, “I can’t understand this fashion. You won’t be able to work with me. Keep your life simple. I am out.” Peyush Bansal praised the entrepreneurs’ Instagram marketing skills but decided against investment due to scalability concerns. Vineeta Singh, despite showing support, also opted out, citing scalability issues and pricing concerns.

However, Ritesh Agarwal saw promise in the business and expressed his faith in the entrepreneurs. He stated, “I always believe in the entrepreneur, and the market will make itself, which is why I will give you a deal.” The pitchers eagerly accepted Ritesh’s offer.
