Gwyneth Paltrow jokingly cursed at Bill Clinton in a new interview.
During an appearance on “Hot Ones” Thursday the “Shakespeare in Love” actress was asked about a long-standing rumor that the former president passed out during a White House screening of her 1996 film, “Emma.”
“True. He was snoring right in front of me,” she confirmed to host Sean Evans. “I was like, ‘Wow, I guess this is going to be a real hit movie.’”
“But it was,” she quipped, “So f–k you, Bill Clinton!”
The film, based on the beloved Jane Austen novel, centers around a young woman in 19th Century England who is intent on setting her friends up with potential spouses.
It also starred Toni Collette, Jeremy Northam, Alan Cumming and Greta Scacchi.

The movie was considered to be a success, grossing nearly $40 million worldwide on a production budget under $8 million.
Elsewhere during the interview, the actress, 51, disparaged superhero movies despite having starred in two “Iron Man” movies.
“If I look at the industry as a whole, there’s this sort of big push into superhero movies,” she opined.
“I mean, you can only make so many good ones that feel truly original and yet there’s still, you know, always trying to reach as many people as possible, which sometimes hinders quality or specificity or real point-of-views.”

“I’ve never said that I am quitting acting,” she told the “Today” show’s Savannah Guthrie in an interview in 2020. “What I say is goop is my full-time passion, and being the founder and CEO of goop is what I do all day every day, and occasionally when something is the right thing and it works out around my children and my goop life, I’m able to participate.
“I think I’m just not focused on full-time acting right now,” she added.

The $75 candle, which began as a joke between Paltrow and perfumer Douglas Little, quickly sold out. It was followed by another scandalous scented candle, dubbed “This Smells Like My Orgasm.”
