It isn’t uncommon for popular celebrities to fall prey to scams and have their social media accounts hacked. Many have spoken about being victims of phishing, hacking, and other cyber crimes. The latest celebrity whose YouTube account has been hacked is Bigg Boss 16 winner and rapper MC Stan.

Stan, who enjoys a massive social media fan following, took to Instagram Stories to inform his 11.1 million followers on Instagram that his YouTube account has been hacked. “famm kisne toh yede ki leke youtube hack kia hai kya malum kya scene yaar sabr karo thoda!! @youtubeindia My yt channel is hacked! (Fam, someone has hacked my YouTube channel. I am trying to figure out what the problem is. Please be patient for a while. @youtubeindia My YT channel is hacked!),” he wrote on Tuesday.

In another Instagram story, MC Stan shared a screenshot of a bitcoin-related YouTube video where a QR code is also visible. He wrote, “QR code scan mat karna aur konsi link pe jaana matclick mat karna kuch bhi ho scam ho sakta hai. Public konsi link pe click mat karna (Don’t scan the QR code and don’t click on any links, you never know, you can be scammed).”

The Pune-boy, whose real name is Altaf Shaikh, is popular for tracks such as “Basti Ka Hasti”, “Nusta Paisa”, “Broke is a Joke” and “Tadipaar”, among others. While he prefers to keep his private life under wraps, he entered the 16th season of Bigg Boss hosted by Salman Khan. After defeating Priyanka Chahar and Shiv Thakare, he took home the trophy last year.
