Noor Alfallah got candid about being diagnosed with a life-threatening complication while pregnant with her and Al Pacino’s son.
Shortly before giving birth to Roman in June 2023, Alfallah was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome, which causes elevated liver enzymes sometimes leading to seizures, per Medline Plus.
“When I look back on it now, I wish I could have enjoyed my pregnancy more,” she said during an interview with Vogue Arabia published Monday.
She further recalled the bags of magnesium she was hooked up to and the inability to be alone with her newborn in the event she would have a seizure.
Despite the setbacks, parenting with Pacino, 83, has been “greater” than Alfallah “ever could imagine.”
“Roman has just been the greatest gift from God, a thousand times better than what I ever thought he would be. Every day I look at him, I just know I’m so blessed.”
