Karan Johar shares video of Radhika Merchant-Anant Ambani pre-wedding bash, produced by Dharma 2.0
It has been a while since Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s star-studded pre-wedding celebrations ended, but the social media cannot stop talking about it. In fact, a barrage of celebrities, who attended the three-day-long pre-wedding bash in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, continue to share glimpses from the extravagant event. On Wednesday, filmmaker-actor Karan Johar, shared an emotional video on his Instagram handle which beautifully captures the feelings of the members of the Ambani family. The video has been produced by Karan’ Dharma 2.0, an extension of Dharma Productions.

The two-minute-long video, which shows bride-to-be Radhika walking down the aisle to stand with Anant as a softer version of Dekha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve (Shava Shava) from his film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham serves as the background music, capturing the emotions the two love birds were experiencing. Dressed in a gold outfit, a teary-eyed Radhika dances to the track as she approaches an excited Anant, eagerly waiting for her.

The visuals are nothing short of a Karan Johar film. Wishing the couple, Karan wrote, “Dil Se Badhai Ho!” “Heartiest congratulations to Anant and @radhikamerchant! The celebrations were not only deeply immersed in warmth, family bonds and immense love but so beautifully resonant of our glorious Indian traditions…The pre wedding festivities are a testament to the love the family has in everyone’s hearts! My deepest love to Nita Bhabhi, Mukesh Bhai, @aambani1 and @shloka11, @_iiishmagish & @anandpiramal. And so much love to Radhika and Anant dil se…Badhai ho!” he captioned the video.

Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and other Ambani family members were seen wiping their tears as they witnessed their adorable moment unfold before them. While Mukesh fought back tears, a sentimental Nita cheered on the couple.

Once united on the stage, for their ‘hastakshar’ ceremony, Anand embraced Radhika in a warm hug and continued to kiss her forehead. At this moment the music changes to Govinda Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo while Isha Ambani and Shloka Mehta are spotted clapping and singing the bhajan in the video. The couple, who got engaged in January last year, is all set to tie the knot on July 14, 2024.
