This Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t in Jalsa, but in Jamnagar. The megastar attended the pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and called it an “extraordinary” experience. Amitabh Bachchan was accompanied by his family, including wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, daughter Shweta Bachchan, grandson Agastya Nanda, and granddaughters Navya Naveli and Aardhya.

In his blog, the screen icon wrote that the gates of Jalsa did not open for the public on Sunday, but the “gates of a wedding did occur.” He informed his fans that he is now back in Mumbai after the celebrations, and described what his experience was like.

“It has to be said, the experience was one never seen before .. not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility .. goodness me .. what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out of diseased or compromised environ, and given a fresh healthy rejuvenated life ..

“This is an experience only seeing can be believed .. and no more details for the joy and ecstasy of the experience shall be driven away ..but see you all must .. and then the glory of the Shlokas, the chanting of the mantras and the truly divine atmosphere and environ created by the hosts .. simply incredible,” he added.

The three-day festivities saw the bride and groom to be, Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, celebrate with the who’s who of the global entertainment industry– from singers Rihanna and Akon’s internet-breaking performance, to the three Khans–Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman–uniting to recreate the “Naatu Naatu” track from RRR.
