Bollywood actor Ananya Panday is bubbling with excitement as she eagerly awaits her new role as a ‘masi’. Taking to her Instagram stories, Ananya shared the news of her cousin Alanna Panday and her husband Ivory McCray’s journey into parenthood. Reposting the heartwarming pregnancy announcement video shared by Alanna, Ananya couldn’t contain her happiness.
She penned a touching note dedicated to Alanna, Ivory, and their soon-to-arrive bundle of joy. Ananya expressed her overflowing love and wrote, “My heart may just explode, little baby, we love you so much already. I’m gonna be Masi.” Alanna is a social media influencer and a model. She has 1.5 million followers on Instagram. Sharing the pregnancy announcement video on Instagram, she wrote, “We love you so much already, we can’t wait to meet you (wings emoji).” Reacting to the post, Ivor wrote, “I can’t wait to meet our baby, I love you.”

Alanna Panday tied the knot with Ivor McCray in a dreamy ceremony in 2023. The wedding was a star-studded affair with Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Kanika Kapoor, Orhan Awatramani (popularly known as Orry) and Aaliyah Kashyap in attendance. The video of Ananya Panday and her father Chunky Panday dancing to the latter’s hit song “Saat Samundar Paar” at the wedding went viral on social media.
On the professional front, Ananya was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. She will next be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Control. The film also stars Vihaan Samat and Devika Vatsa in pivotal roles. She will pair with Akshay Kumar in the Karan Johar-backed film The Untold Story Of C Sankaran Nair. It will be directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
