Superstar Rajinikanth is on a wedding-attending spree. Recently, the Jailer actor was spotted at the wedding of his friend and long-time collaborator Vijayakumar’s granddaughter’s wedding. Now, Rajinikanth attended the wedding of Revanth, the owner of Chennai’s popular Rohini Silver Screens theatre.
A video of Rajinikanth standing with the family of the bride and bridegroom during the wedding has gone viral on social media. Rakesh Gowthaman, the owner of Vettri Theatre, another iconic theatre in the city, shared the video on social media.

Rajinikanth is known for honoring all such invites. Actor Prabhu once recalled how Superstar, despite his ill health, made it to a wedding in his family just because he went in person to invite him to the event.

On the work front, it looks like Rajinikanth has wrapped up the predominant portion of his upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan, is expected to be released in 2024. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, which is produced by Lyca Productions.
Meanwhile, Rajini is expected to join the sets of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s untitled film, tentatively called Thalaivar 171.
