Actor Rakul Preet Singh will be tying the knot with longtime boyfriend and actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani on Wednesday in Goa. Before their beach wedding, the couple is celebrating their union with their friends and family at a sangeet ceremony on Tuesday. Photos and videos from the same have surfaced on social media.
For the sangeet ceremony, guests donned yellow and white ensembles. Videos of Rakul and Jackky’s parents arriving at the ceremony have started circulating on social media. In the clip, Rakul’s parents, Rajendra Singh and Kulwinder Singh, are seen thanking the paparazzi for coming all the way to Goa from Mumbai to be with them on this happy occasion.

In the next video, Jackky’s father and producer, Vashu Bhagnani, and his sister, Deepshikha Deshmukh, were seen posing for the paparazzi. Both the members of Jackky’s family were seen dressed in yellow attires.

Many celebrities have landed in Goa to attend Jackky and Rakul’s wedding. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra were among the first celebrities to arrive in Goa. They were followed by Arjun Kapoor and Esha Deol.

Before heading to Goa for their wedding, Jackky and Rakul sought blessings at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. They also had an intimate celebration in Mumbai which was only attended by their family members. The couple made their relationship official on Instagram in 2021, as Rakul believed, “There is nothing to hide about the relationship.”

She told Film Companion, “We’re both of the opinion that there is nothing to hide or be shy about a relationship. If you are in one, the best thing is to give each other that respect and acknowledge it. Let’s face it. We all know who the couples are, hiding and running. Both of us don’t come from that school of thought.”
Rakul will be next seen in Kamal Haasan-led film Indian 2. Jackky’s next big production, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, will hit the theatres on Eid 2024.
