Most brothers and sisters fight when parents are not at home and Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan were no different during their childhood. Abhishek once cut Shweta’s hair during a fight when Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were not at home.

In the latest episode of Navya Nanda Naveli’s podcast series What The Hell Navya, she reminded her mother Shweta about the time when her ‘mamu’ Abhishek ‘ripped’ a chunk of her hair out. Shweta nodded in agreement and said, “He cut it.” Jaya laughed and revealed that he did it from the centre of Shweta’s head.

Sharing the reason why Abhishek did it, Shweta told Navya, “We had a fight. Parents were out at night and we had some kind of argument. I don’t know how he found a pair of scissors, and he just caught my hair and he just…I had to go to school with that. Nani would put pins on my hair.”

Shweta Bachchan also revealed that Jaya Bachchan styled her hair every morning before going to school and she would get a beating if she moved her head while she braided her hair. She shared, “Nani used to do my hair every morning before going to school. I used to get so many whacks on my head with the comb, ‘Sit straight, sit straight’. Braiding my hair tight and then that loop hairstyle.”

During the interaction, Navya also revealed how her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t like it when the women of his family cut their hair short.

Now, Shweta and Abhishek share a lovely relationship and often express their love for each other on social media. On Bhai Dooj, Shweta had called Abhishek, “What A Guy, just sunshine and rainbows.” The two also once appeared together on Koffee With Karan, where Abhishek revealed that while he is the favourite of his mother, Amitabh Bachchan dots over his daughter Shweta.
