It appears that Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar has not been able to pinpoint the standout moment of her January 27. While thoroughly enjoying the Jonas Brothers’ performance at the Lollapalooza India event in Mumbai, she also had the delightful opportunity to meet her idol Priyanka Chopra later that night and exchange a cheerful “Hi”, making it one of the most exciting days for her.
Following their Mumbai concert, Nick Jonas, along with his brothers and fellow band members Kevin and Joe, took part in a party hosted by socialite and businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla, which was also attended by Bhumi. Meanwhile, the actor recently revealed that Priyanka Chopra was part of the party via a video call.
“Actually, we did (video call Priyanka). They (Nick and Priyanka) were speaking to each other and look, I am her fan, the world knows that. So I had like a quick moment in which I was like ‘Hiiii’. I get so excited about her because she again is such a strong voice for what I stand for as well. I think she is just a cool person,” the Bhakshak actor said during a chat with News18 Showsha.
“The concert was phenomenal, and they have been so aspirational since our teenage years, you know, Jonas Brothers as a band and them doing this in India for the first time, it was so cool. We all had to make sure they had a good, good concert,” she added.

The two-day Lollapalooza India event, held at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse, commenced with performances by artists like the Jonas Brothers and Halsey on the Indian stage. “This is our very first time performing in India. The sangeet doesn’t count,” joked Nick, referring to his 2018 pre-wedding ceremony with Priyanka Chopra.
Bhumi was last seen in Pulkit’s crime thriller Bhakshak. In her review of the Netflix movie, The Indian Express’ Shubhra Gupta wrote, “Bhumi Pednekar is earnest and works at making her character believable but is saddled with basic storytelling and zero nuance.”
