Actor Rashmika Mandanna has recently been vocal about her dissatisfaction with the speculations and rumours targeting her. On Tuesday, the actor gave a fitting reply to a troll who argued that she signed her 2022 Telugu movie Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu not out of appreciation for the script but because of her co-star Sharwanand and director Kishore Tirumala.

In defense of her choices, Rashmika responded to the tweet, stating, “Said who re? I only do films Cz (cause) I believe in the script. And being able to work with the cast and crew has been an honor. I wonder where all of this baseless news starts from.” Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu received mixed review from critics and was also a box office failure.

Said who re? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I only do films Cz I believe in the script.. and being able to work with the cast and crew has been an honour.. I wonder where all of this baseless news starts from 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Rashmika’s response to the troll comes days after she refuted an online portal’s claim that she had increased her remuneration following the success of her Hindi film, Animal. The portal suggested that Rashmika is now charging around Rs 4 to Rs 4.5 crore for her films. Taking a humorous jab at the report, the actor wrote, “Says who I wonder 🤦🏻‍♀️.. after seeing all of this I think I should actually consider it.. and if my producers ask why.. then I’ll just say ‘media out there is saying this sir.. and I think I should live up to their words.. what do I do?’ 🤣.”

On the professional front, Rashmika has many projects lined up, including the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule alongside Allu Arjun. Additionally, she is set to star in Telugu films like Rainbow and The Girlfriend. She will also appear opposite Vicky Kaushal in director Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film Chaava.
