Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan once shared a close friendship, and collaborated on films such as Don, Om Shanti Om and Ra.One. But they haven’t worked together in over a decade, amid rumours of a fallout. Now, it looks like Arjun has chosen to leave the past behind, and focus on the present. While speaking to Zoom Entertainment, Arjun praised SRK for his recent achievements, and commended the record-breaking performance of his 2023 films Pathaan and Jawan.

During the promotions of Crakk, which also features Nora Fatehi and Vidyut Jammwal, when asked about the importance of commercial success, Arjun said, “One thing I have learnt in this industry, over the decade, is that a lot of people get happy when they see others not succeed. It is a negative approach to have in life because it will not allow you to grow in your career. The most important thing is to feel happy about people succeeding and doing well,” while stressing the importance of positivity and mutual support within the industry.

He added, “When he (SRK) does a Pathaan and smashes all records, and then, he comes and does it again with Jawan, that is outstanding and fantastic. It’s great for the industry. So, you have to encourage that. Acknowledge it, and be proud of it, be happy for that person. Whatever happens in your life or however you go about it, good things will happen to you too, and those people will be happy for you too.”

The year 2023 marked the ‘return’ of SRK as the undisputed King Khan of Bollywood. After a brief hiatus, he stormed back onto the scene with three films – Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki – each one a roaring success. Not only did he shatter box office records, but he also garnered immense love and appreciation from audiences, proving everlasting star power, and cementing his position as one of the biggest and most beloved actors in Indian cinema.
