Ravi Teja’s latest film, Eagle, made an impressive start at the box office. But it experienced a slight decline in its collections on the second day, earning Rs 4.75 crore. The film has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark within two days of its release, with its total domestic collection reaching Rs 10.95 crore, according to Sacnilk.

On Saturday, Eagle recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 32.84 percent, while its Hindi occupancy was a modest 9.02 percent. Despite opening alongside Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam, the Ravi Teja-starrer surpassed its competitor’s first-day collection by earning Rs 6.2 crore. Lal Salaam earned Rs 3.55 crore on Friday. The trend continued on the second day, with Eagle maintaining its lead with Rs 4.75 crore compared to Lal Salaam’s Rs 3 crore.

In Eagle, Ravi Teja portrays contract killer Sahadev Varma, whose life takes a turn when he falls in love with Kavya Thapar’s character, Rachana.

Despite its promising box office performance, Eagle received mixed reviews upon its release. Raghu Bandi of Indianexpress.com gave the film two stars and wrote, “Eagle has a decent plot. What drags it down is the complicated storytelling and excess verbal elevations. If the audience survives the first half, there is some narrative that is not bad in the second half. The lack of typical Ravi Teja entertainment is another factor that might impact the movie. The absence of a specific villain is also an issue in a commercial film like Eagle.”

Produced by People Media Factory, Eagle also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhubala in significant roles. The film is written, directed, and edited by Karthik.
