After making a mark in the music industry, Guru Randhawa is now set to embark on his acting journey with his debut film, Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay. The trailer for the film was released on Wednesday, offering a glimpse into the upcoming venture. Randhawa stars alongside Saiee Manjrekar in this romantic comedy.

The trailer opens in Agra, with actor Vijay Raaz’s distinctive voice introducing the two main characters. Randhawa portrays Heera, a carefree and jovial guy, while Manjrekar portrays Rani, who aspires to become an IAS officer. Heera’s grandfather, played by Anupam Kher, pressures him to marry and start a family quickly, a demand echoed by Rani’s family as well. To escape this familial pressure, Heera and Rani decide to tie the knot, with Heera pledging to support Rani’s aspirations. However, a misunderstanding leads both families to believe that they are expecting a child, resulting in confusion and a series of comical situations. The trailer also features Randhawa’s popular track “Ishare Tere.”

Guru Randhawa shared the trailer on his social media platforms, expressing excitement for the film’s release. He captioned the post, “The laughter is contagious, the love is infectious! Catch a glimpse of #KuchKhattaHoJaay in our official trailer and join us in this epic journey 💕.”

Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is directed by Ashok G. and written by Raj Saluja, Niket Pandey, and Vijay Pal Singh. The film also stars Atul Srivastava, Ila Arun, and Paritosh Tripathi in pivotal roles. Produced by Amit Bhatia and Laveena Bhatia, it is set to hit theatres on February 16.
