Britney Spears issued a scathing response to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake after he appeared to shade her.

“Someone told me someone was talking s–t about me on the streets !!!” Spears, 42, wrote via Instagram Thursday alongside a stock image of a basketball hoop.

“Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ???” she added. “I’m not sorry !!!”

On Wednesday night, Timberlake, 43, seemingly took a shot at his former flame during a concert in New York City.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody,” the *NSYNC alum told the audience before singing his 2002 hit “Cry Me a River,” which was inspired by Spears cheating on him during their relationship.

Earlier this week, the Princess of Pop publicly apologized to anyone she “offended” with her bombshell-filled book, writing in a since-deleted Instagram post, “I am deeply sorry.”

She then extended an olive branch to the ex-boy bander specifically, adding, “I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ It is soo good.”

Spears’ unexpected praise of the “Mirrors” singer came days after her fan base went on a streaming and buying frenzy with her 2011 track “Selfish” to prevent his single of the same name from topping the charts.
