Bhavana Studios, the production house backed by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran, on Thursday unveiled the trailer of the fun young adult movie titled Premalu. The promo gives a sneak peek into the one-sided love story of Naslen K Gafoor‘s character Sachin.
The trailer shows Sachin falling in love with Reenu (Mamitha Baiju) after seeing her at a wedding. He follows her to Hyderabad, where she works at an IT firm. Their love story comes to a screeching halt when he realises she is already in a relationship with someone better than him.

Dilessh Pothan, while announcing Premalu earlier, had said in a statement, “Girish AD, known for helming Thanneer Mathan Dinangal and Super Sharanya, will be directing the fifth film to be produced by me, Shyam and Fahadh under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Naslen and Mamitha Baiju will play the lead roles in the film, and the shooting will begin this month. We look forward to your cooperation so far. Thanks.”
Premalu also stars Althaf Salim, Shyam Mohan M, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sangeeth Prathap and Shameer Khan. It is scheduled to release in theatres on February 9.
