One of the duos who hogged limelight in Bigg Boss Season 17 was runner-up Abhishek Kumar and his ex-girlfriend Isha Malviya. Right from the first day on the show, the two were at loggerheads as they brought out their past grievances against each other. During the show, they had many showdowns where Isha made some very shocking revelations about Abhishek. Isha had accused Abhishek of beating her and slapping her so hard that her eye had gotten bruised. This information was also shared by Isha’s current boyfriend Samarth Jurel. Abhishek never denied these allegations, in fact, he always stated that he had made some mistakes in his relationship with Isha. But now with the show getting over, Abhishek also seems to have moved on with the entire Isha Malviya chapter.

Recently, while talking to Times Of India, Abhishek said, “I was ready to close the chapter of Isha Malviya in my life. When Bigg Boss told Munawar and me to come out of the house by switching off the light, I decided that moment to leave everything there and forget Isha and the entire topic. I don’t want to get distracted now and want to move ahead in life and career. I don’t want to talk about anything related to her and just want to focus on good things. Initially, I felt I needed to take therapy to get better but later on, I realized that Isha’s exit from my life was a therapy for me. After she left I became quite calm.”

During his interaction with indianexpress.com, Abhishek Kumar indirectly referred to Isha Malviya as a negative impact in his life. “I have changed for the good now. I want to lead a peaceful life now that all negative things from my life are gone.” In this interview, Abhishek also spoke about falling in love again and said, “After all the mistakes I have made, I fear falling in love again. Now I will think twice before getting into a relationship. I will only fall in love now after knowing the person well, so that will take some time.”

Abhishek also shared how Isha used his mental health issues against him on the show. “Only Isha knew about my mental health issues and she used it against me. I never expected this from her. Samarth even named my doctor on the show. That felt very bad because I went through it so that I could get her back, but she used it against me.”

While Isha, Abhishek, and Samarth had numerous fights on the show, the one where Abhishek slapped Samarth was the biggest. This was the same fight where Isha made fun of Abhishek’s health. Now that all of this is in the past, Abhishek also made it clear that he has moved on.

Isha too had spoken to us about Abhishek. She had shared, “I have moved on from Abhishek. There is no room left for anything. But yes, I do have a nature to let go of things and in that house, there is no escape. So you cannot avoid a person consciously. Even if I fought with Abhishek, the very next moment we were put together in a task. But if that came across as I have not moved on at all, that is not true. I don’t want a guy like Abhishek in my life ever.”

As for Isha’s allegations against Abhishek, her boyfriend Samarth said, “Every allegation of Isha’s is true. All parents hide their child’s mistakes, and Abhishek’s mom did that too. I have seen so many chats of Isha where Abhishek has apologized to her. He even asked her in one chat to send a picture of her eye that was bruised. He used to cry on video calls, so nothing is a lie. As far as other co-stars are concerned, nobody slaps in front of everyone, he took her alone and slapped her.”

While these allegations brought Abhishek the tag of a woman beater, at the Bigg Boss press conference, he spoke on the same and shared, “The mistakes I have made in the past are something I will look into once I am out. Isha and I had a relationship, and after everything I did, I can only say sorry. I am not proud of it, but both of us were at fault, not just me. I did not reveal the story in depth because our families would also have been dragged into it, which I didn’t want. We have dragged our reputations through mud, so I will just say sorry and nothing more.”

Well, the two seem to have agreed on getting a closure, but have they got one? The answer to this might only come out in the days to come.
