“I am now able to stay in my zone. I go, walk. I walk around. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have so many eyes on me. I am still trying to find my way of dialogue, find my emotion, so I know that if I am being watched, it’s a bit distracting on the set but mostly I manage. My team, my staff knows that I am now in my zone so they kind of stand guard. So, no one enters the area where I am walking. I kind of mark the territory. I will take over one entire corner of a set and then no one can enter that space. I keep walking around, I don’t even know what I do,” shares the actor.

Hrithik prefers bringing his most authentic self to the camera and said that he often requests his director and crew to capture emotional scenes as fast as possible otherwise the mojo wears off giving retakes.

“When it’s an emotional scene, I hope and pray, I just warn everyone concerned that its an emotional scene and once the juice is out, you have to be able to capture it. That is my one rule for emotional scenes that you have one or two takes, you have to capture it, to make sure you are absolutely ready because you won’t get more than two takes. Although I will give as many takes as they require but my request and warning to them, before I start is this. You are going to get two or three takes, do what you have to,” said the actor.

In Fighter, Hrithik plays the role of Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania or Patty. The film, which is Hrithik’s third collaboration with director Siddharth Anand after Bang Bang and War, also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The film is set on Indian Air Force pilots and their love for the country. The movie released on January 25 worldwide and is having a decent run at the box office.
