Ace Indian badminton player PV Sindhu is the latest to join the list of people, who enjoyed filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s recent offering Fighter. She took to her social media to share her thoughts on the film. The renowned sports personality also called actor Anil Kapoor “timeless” in the post and was also in awe of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
PV Sindhu posted her reaction on her Instagram stories and wrote, “What a movieee. Hrithik and Deepika just uff, Anil sir, just timeless.”

Deepika, who plays the role of Minal Rathore in the film, re-posted PV Sindhu’s post and wrote “Love you” to her. Several celebrities praised the film for its massy and strong content. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role.
Released on January 25, Fighter started off strong at the box office but has shown decrease in collections on its first Monday. The movie collected Rs 8 crore on its fifth day at the box office, bringing a total domestic collection to Rs 126.50 crore.
Hrithik in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, shared that he finds a lot of validation in box office collection. He said, “The biggest validation comes from the numbers, box office. That is something I have been a little shy to say in the past but that’s the truth. The biggest validation is box office numbers especially when you are making a film that is aimed at entertaining the audience that gets in the numbers. That’s one.”
Shubhra Gupta wrote in The Indian Express’s review, “This is one of those films that you wish that the desire to get the easy claps, with dialogues like ‘baap kaun hai’, and ‘har galli will become Indian Occupied Pakistan’, could have been kept at bay. A lot of effort has gone into keeping the proceedings at Air Force stations authentic, and there’s a great aerial sequence in the second half — I loved the snow whooshing off a row of fir trees — which can compare with the best of the ‘Top Gun’ flicks. Hrithik and Deepika make a great pair; Anil Kapoor, as fit as the hero, provides able support.”
