Recently Ira dropped a series of photos on her Instagram story from her registered wedding, which took place in Mumbai on January 3. Ira playfully teased her dad Aamir Khan over his emotional outburst on her wedding day, calling them ‘fake tears’
Ira Khan got married to her longtime boyfriend and celeb fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare in the first week of January and has been regularly treating her Instagram fans with pictures and videos from her D-day. Ira Khan walked her followers through some moments on the day Nupur and she registered their wedding.

She posted a series of candid pictures from the event. In one of the clicks, Aamir Khan was seen wiping off his tears as his daughter Ira signed her marriage document. Ira wrote on it, “The fake tears ….(real one coming soon),” while in another photo, Aamir Khan and Nupur can be seen sharing a laugh to which she wrote, “The inappropriate comment made too close to the mic.”
Ira’s parents Aamir and Reena Dutta were seen all by her side during the ceremony. Sharing another photo, she wrote, “No No wait, no cue music yet. There’s more paperwork to do.”

On Sunday, Ira Khan also shared a bunch of images from her wedding day and it featured her parents Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, brother Junaid, and cousin Zayn Marie among others.
“First we were married🤭 (this will make sense with the later captions) We journeyed (I came ALL THE WAY from the 20th floor), we played (I won), we sang, @nupur_popeye and I didn’t dance – we smiled… we did paperwork!! Thank you for making us feel special and for your good natured participation in our slightly haphazard production with its many last minute change of plans! 🤭🤗 We met people haven’t seen in ages!! One of the things I was really looking forward to was to meet all the people in our lives, from all its different parts. Thank you to everyone who came❤️ And thank you, Taj for your beautiful space and gracious hospitality! Always making us feel looked after,” she wrote along.

After a registered marriage, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare hosted festivities in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and the celebrations came to an end with a grand star-studded reception in Mumbai.
