Filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s much-anticipated film Fighter is set to feature the stunning duo of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan portraying the roles of Air Force pilots. With just three days remaining until its theatrical release, the film has generated immense excitement, leading fans to secure their seats through advance bookings.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Fighter has already recorded a remarkable 86,516 advance bookings for day one, amassing Rs 2.84 crore. The breakdown includes 33,624 tickets for the 2D Hindi version, 46,790 tickets for the 3D version, 4,881 tickets for IMAX 3D action, and 1,221 tickets for the immersive 4DX 3D experience.

Noteworthy advance ticket sales have been reported, such as Rs 67.39 lakh in Delhi, Rs 75.02 lakh in Maharashtra, and Rs 40.73 lakh in Telangana. Karnataka has contributed Rs 43.54 lakh to the film’s advance bookings.

Fighter is said to be inspired by the 2019 Pulwama attack, depicting India’s response in the aftermath of the incident. The film, with a runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes, has received a U/A certification from the Central Board of Film Certification.

According to the official synopsis, Fighter revolves around a new and elite unit, Air Dragons, commissioned by the Air Headquarters to address militant activities in the Srinagar Valley. The unit, comprising the best combat aviators selected from across the IAF, serves as the first responders to any hostile activity. The film narrates the story of the Air Dragons, committed to giving their all for the nation while navigating the highs and lows of their internal and external battles.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter features an ensemble cast with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles, supported by Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Talat Aziz. Focused on the lives of IAF officers, the film is scheduled for release on January 25.
