Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Junaid Khan arrived at Reena Dutta’s Bandra residence to attend her father’s funeral. Reena’s father who passed away on Wednesday. According to reports, Reena resides in the same building complex as Aamir with her family.
In paparazzi videos, Aamir was seen arriving at Reena’s residence, surrounded by bodyguards as he quickly made his way inside. His ex-wife, Kiran Rao, was also photographed arriving at Reena’s home to offer her condolences. Aamir and Reena’s eldest son, Junaid Khan, was spotted as well, coming to pay his respects to his maternal grandfather. Another video shows an emotional Aamir standing beside the ambulance, helping make arrangements for the funeral. Junaid and Kiran are also seen having a conversation in the clip.

In an earlier interview, Aamir had opened up about his relationship with Reena, revealing that her parents did not approve of their marriage. He recalled that they eloped when he was 21 and she was 19. At the time, neither of their families knew about their romance, and Reena’s parents were particularly unhappy about her involvement with someone. Aamir explained that both he and Reena were afraid of losing each other, which led them to make the difficult decision to run away together. He clarified that their choice wasn’t driven by rebellion or disrespect, but rather out of insecurity. He also noted that he was still under 21 at the time, so they had to wait a few months before they could legally marry.
Aamir and Reena married in 1986 and were together for 16 years before divorcing in 2002. They share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. After their divorce, Aamir began dating Kiran Rao, and the two tied the knot in 2005. However, their marriage also ended, and they parted ways in 2021. Aamir and Kiran have a son, Azad, born via surrogacy.
