Throughout his career, Quan had been very open with the public about his issues with addiction.

The “Flex” rapper once said on YouTuber Math Hoffa’s podcast that he would take Molly pills, which are commonly known as ecstasy, “every day.”

“This is how I knew I was trippin’,” he said in the episode. “I did not want the sun to come up, bro. … I was popping them before I brushed my teeth. That’s how I would start my day.”

Quan posted on Sept. 2 on Instagram a slideshow of images of himself and a caption that read, “Vision clear even through the BS.”
