Calling her a “hero”, and “super human being”, Hina recalled, “She went out of her way to make sure my journey was Easier than hers, she lifted my spirits and comforted me every step of the Way. Her Hardships became my Life Lessons. Her Love and Kindness became my benchmark and her Courage became my Greatest Goal. Mahima Chaudhry was among the first actors to come out in support of Hina Khan after she revealed her breast cancer diagnosis. Taking to Hina’s comments section in June, Mahima wrote, “Sending you all my love & strength, you are my brave one, Hina. You are a fighter, and I know you will be just fine! You have millions of people wishing the best for you, and I will be there holding your hand right through this.”

Ever since Mahima Chaudhry’s own cancer battle, the actor has been warning her friends to get timely breast examination done. She told The Week, “The point I want to make is that breast cancer is completely curable if detected at an early stage and delaying examination will only further delay one’s chances at survival.”

Mahima Chaudhry will soon be making her acting comeback with Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
