Actor Aly Goni has never shied away from presenting his opinion and recently, after Asim Riaz was eliminated from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Aly did not hold back. During a recent podcast with Bharti Singh, Aly said that Asim was provoked by Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants. He also took an indirect dig at Shalin Bhanot and Abhishek Kumar.
Sharing his opinion Aly Goni said, “People have been saying 50 things about Asim for what he did on KKK14. But that is his nature, he didn’t like a certain thing, and he reacted, who are people to judge? It’s between him and the channel, they ousted him for his action, and it’s done. I specially saw that episode, a lot must have happened but it might have been edited out, if someone is getting mad to that extent he must have been provoked to that level. If the other contestants wanted, things could have gotten normal, but they all provoked him. They forgot that it wasn’t Bigg Boss.”
Aly also recalled his season of Khatron Ke Khiladi where there was some rivalry between Aditya Narayan and Bharti’s husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. He said, “There were issues that time also, but we contestants would intervene and sort it out. Eventually, Aditya also started to gel up and today he and Haarsh are such good friends.” Adding to Aly’s point, Bharti Singh also said, “I feel everybody tries to make every reality show like Bigg Boss by fighting.”

Aly added, “Asim is a little aggressive, I don’t know if he behaved badly with Rohit sir or not. If he did, that was wrong. But it was the duty of other contestants to calm things down. But if you show him more attitude and try to become the hero then it’s not right. They all attacked Asim together. According to me, Asim must have felt that he would look stupid on TV and to protect that, he got aggressive.”
Aly Goni revealed that he has known Asim since their modeling days and shared an anecdote. He revealed that they would model for clothing brands and were paid Rs 150 for every change in costume. “We used to try and do the maximum changes so that we make a decent amount, three times we even fainted. Especially Asim and I would be sitting with the photographer the whole day telling him to shoot us as much as he could. Eventually, the photographer had to tell us to go home. But we three were a solid group. We were good-looking too, so we would even get a lot of female attention,” he said.
