Stree 2 box office collection day 7: Actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor‘s horror comedy sequel had another big day at the box office, pushing its lifetime collections to more than twice of what the original Stree had earned. While the 2018 film was a surprise hit, netting Rs 130 cr throughout its run, Stree 2 has doubled that figure in seven days.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film minted Rs 20 cr on Wednesday, which is just 25 less than its Tuesday collections. The film had a strong hold on both working days, which came after an extended holiday weekend. Stree 2 has so far netted Rs 275.35 cr, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

The film has also emerged as the second-highest grossing Indian film of 2024 so far, with nearly Rs 370 cr worldwide. Stree 2 is now trailing Kalki 2898 AD, which has grossed more than Rs 1100 cr. Globally, Stree 2 has already overtaken some other major titles of the year, including Fighter (Rs 354 cr), HanuMan and Manjummel Boys, which stood at Rs 294.18 cr and Rs 241.56 cr, respectively.
