Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti parted ways on screen after the former moved to Netflix with a few select cast members from The Kapil Sharma Show. While the duo shared great comic timing on screen, with Sumona playing the nagging wife and Kapil playing the foolish husband, the duo has not been seen together since then. Now, the two have reunited for a new ad where they play the same old character, but this time to sell a product.
The ad for an oil has Sumona complaining about the household chores and how Kapil doesn’t help her enough. Fans in the comments section were quick to appreciate their chemistry, but they also pointed out that Kapil was rehashing his old jokes here. One of the fans wrote, “Ma’am you are BADLY missed on Kapil Sharma Show!” Another comment read, “Kapil and his regressive same old dialogues here also.”

Until recently, Kapil was seen in The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. The show was similar to his older comedy shows where celebrities came in to promote their films, as Kapil and the other cast members put up comic performances. The show has been renewed for a second season.

A few days ago, Kapil was seen with cast member Sunil Groover as they shared a conversation with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. In the chat, Sunil asked Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, “Gurudev, I had a question to ask. When two friends, who love each other a lot, have a conflict, how do they make sure to patch up without having a gap of six years or avoid such situation?” The audience erupted in laughter and Kapil too, who was sitting next to Sunil, could not stop laughing. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar replied, “Conflict is a part of love! To love someone and fight with someone else, that doesn’t happen. You need to be together for both love and fight.”
