Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool and Wolverine has helped revive interest in not only superhero films, but also the India box office, which hasn’t exactly had too many hits this year. The Marvel film, on its seventh day in theatres, has earned more than Rs 5 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. This takes the film’s week-one total to almost Rs 90 crore. Deadpool & Wolverine will surpass the benchmark this weekend, as it remains the number one choice for audiences despite the release of new films such as Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh.
