Asim Riaz’ sudden exit from reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, following a heated argument with Singham director and host Rohit Shetty, has been making headlines. Asim, who lost a task and called fellow contestants, Abhishek Kumar and Shalin Bhanot ‘losers,‘ was expelled from the show by an angry Rohit who called him out for ‘bad behaviour.’ Actor Shilpa Shinde, also participated in the show and is recuperating after a minor surgery, was the only person who was seen supporting former Bigg Boss contestant, but not without a warning. Several videos surfaced from the show, showed Shilpa urging Asim to remain silent while he was seen arguing with Rohit. Now, speaking to Times Now, the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actor revealed that while Asim’s behaviour was unacceptable, she blamed other contestants for proving and bullying him, leading him to react in an extreme manner.

Kuch bhi nahin hua tha. Aap ke sar paani chala jata hai. Down-to-earth hona chahiya. Ek banda ek taraf aur baki ek jhoondh hai, usko bhadkaya gaya as they knew his nature. Sablog success handle nahin kar pate. Sab log galat the, sab log sahi the. Maine use baar baar bola ki woh chup rahe, bahas na kare (People should be humble. Asim was alone on one side and others ganged up against him, provoked him. I kept urging him not to speak or argue with Rohit Shetty. They knew his nature and yet bullied him and instigated him. Everyone cannot handle success),” she shared.

On the show, Asim was heard saying that he could buy a car every three months which irked Rohit. Shilpa, who feels that other contestants giving Asim the tag of being “aggressive” is wrong, stressed that the singer-model shouldn’t have treated Khatron ke Khiladi like the Bigg Boss house. “Woh aggressive nahin tha, but he is talkative… he wanted to share his experience and the pain he has gone through. Usko zyada bolne ki aadat hai. Usko chup karana padta hai. Uske bolne ka andaaz galat ho sakata hai (He was not an aggressive person. He is extremely talkative and doesn’t know here to stop which backfired),” she revealed.

Shilpa further added, “Yeh Bigg Boss nahin hai.. aapki wahan dosti huyi toh uski respect karni chahiya. Isko kheencho mat rubber ki tarah, stunt wala show hai mooh se jhagda karne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. Tu-tu main main huyi. Jo Asim ke fans nahin hai unhone bhi notice kiya ki usko bully kiya, cheez ko daba sakate the. Sab milkar ek insaan par haawi hogaye. I was quiet and asked him to be quiet, too. Usne apne pair par kulhadi maari (This was not Bigg Boss and if you have made friends on the show, respect the friendship. This issues shouldn’t have been stretch beyond a certain point. Khatron Ke Khiladi is stunt-based show, there was no need to get verbal. Even those who are not his fans, would have noticed that Asif was being targeted and bullied. I kept asking him to stay silent),” said Shilpa.

After getting expelled from show, Asim dropped BTS photos from his upcoming song “Built in Pain Vol 2” on Instagram. He also took a jibe at the show by sharing a cryptic message on his Instagram Story.  “Sometimes, trying to prove that you’re the best is an insult,” he wrote.
