The Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri-starrer is being compared with previously released Kareena Kapoor-starrer crew and Shahid Kapoor-starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which were both targeted towards city audience. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal’s film has earned same as Crew’s weekend collection, which was Rs 29.5 crore.

It needs to be seen if Bad Newz follows the same path and outshines Crew and TBMAUJ. The real test depends on the film’s collection on its first Monday.
