On Tuesday, actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their daughter. While the new parents seemed elated with the arrival of their little princess they announced the big news with a sweet note. Sharing the news about the birth of their baby girl, Richa and Ali wrote in a statement, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings! Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.”
As the new parents take on the roles of being mom and dad, they exclusively parenthood with Indianexpress.com and shared how they would be as a mother and father. The interview took place a few days ago.

In an earlier interview when Richa was asked if she was nervous about being a mother, given that it’s a huge responsibility, she said, “As a mother I think I will just be myself, I am excited to bring life into the world and do my best. I am not nervous about it, it is the most natural thing.” Ali also shared how he would be as a father, he said, “It’s overwhelming and we are very excited. I am looking forward to being a father.”
On Tuesday evening Richa shared her pregnancy photoshoot calling it the most private thing she had ever posted. “What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey Ali Fazal, through this lifetime, and many more, through starlights and galaxies… May we bring forth a warrior of light, a child of compassion, empathy, healing, and above all love. Ameen!” The caption further read, “Comments are off because this is the most private thing I have posted.”

On the work front, Richa was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show Heeramandi, while Ali Fazal’s last outing on screen was with Mirzapur Season 3.
