After a series of pre and post-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, a video of Mukesh Ambani’s eldest daughter-in-law Shloka Ambani dozing off during the Aashirwad ceremony is going viral. In the video, the beautifully decked up Shloka Ambani with unmissable diamond jewellery can be seen dozing off while sitting next to her husband Aakash Ambani, who is accompanied by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. Aakash’s sister Isha Ambani was also seen sitting beside PM Narendra Modi in the video.

The video is from Saturday, when the Ambanis hosted an Aashirwad ceremony for the newlywed couple, which was attended by the Prime Minister of India and several other celebrities and saints from around the country. Many online are finding Shloka’s video cute and even sympathised with her. A user wrote, “Anyone will become exhausted after being mother of two and hosting a big fat event not a joke she really needs rest.”

Another user wrote, “I think we really need to consider them as super humans looking at the fact that they survived this for.so.long with energy and zeal! We get exhausted just dancing at a random wedding for 2 days!” Other comments read, “It’s not funny. This is normal and human. Thoda piche focus karo may be all the VVVVIPs are also dozing off. Won’t be surprised if the Anant and Radhika are dozing off too”.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was one of the longest-running events beginning in March. The Ambanis hosted a lavish pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar in March, which was attended by around 1200 guests from around the world. Pop icons Rihanna and Akon were invited to perform during the events. The event had become a talking point with all the eyes on Jamnagar. The events then went on to for about 5 days, with three days celebrations arranged for VVIPs only.

In June, the Ambanis hosted yet another pre-wedding bash for Anant and Radhika on board a luxury cruise in Europe. This was a four-day event with about 800 guests and 600 staff. During the celebrations, celebs like Katy Perry and Backstreet Boys band performed for the guests.

The Ambanis then hosted several events starting in June. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started with the Ambanis hosting a group wedding for underprivileged couples followed by Mameru-Mausulu ceremony–a ritual where the maternal uncles of the bride gift her clothes and jewellery. The next day, a grand dandiya night was arranged by Anant Ambani’s grandmother Kokilaben. On July 5, the Ambanis hosted a extravagant sangeet ceremony where several Bollywood celebrities as well as the members of Ambani family performed. The highlight of the evening was an electrifying performance by Justin Bieber.

The couple then had a mata ki chowki as well as mehendi ceremony. It was followed by a star-studded haldi ceremony. Finally, the day of the grand wedding arrived on July 12. A grand baraat procession was held for Anant Ambani with many who’s who dancing at the baraat. Live performances by singers such as Rema, Honey Singh, AP Dhillon, and Hardy Sandhu, among others were organised for the baraatis. Actors Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ranveer Singh among others took part in the procession.

To attend the grand wedding, several international politicians as well as celebs including Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian arrived in Mumbai. Post-wedding, the couple hosted an Aashirwad ceremony followed by a grand wedding reception on Sunday. On Monday, the Ambanis will host a special event for paps among others, hopefully the last of the grand wedding celebrations. The couple was engaged back in 2022.
