Baby’s first Fourth of July!
Mindy Kaling gave an adorable glimpse of her daughter Anne while celebrating Thursday’s holiday at a beach.
“A sandy/salty skin/no makeup/freezing cold perfect waves/lots of sunscreen/frosting/outside for hours kind of Independence Day,” the actress, 45, captioned an Instagram slideshow.
Kaling led the carousel with a bare-faced selfie in a sun hat before sharing shots of her eldest two children: daughter Katherine, 6, and son Spencer, 3.
Later in the upload, the Emmy nominee shared a sweet snap of her 4-month-old in a blue-and-white outfit with her face turned away from the camera.
Kaling went on to show Anne’s fingers wrapped around her thumb as the mother-daughter duo sat on the beach.

“So sweet Mindy!!” her former “Office” co-star Angela Kinsey commented.
Last month, Kaling surprised her followers with Anne’s Instagram debut and called the infant “the best birthday present.”
The “Mindy Project” star wrote, “In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. … When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life.”
She concluded, “I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline.”
Kaling became a mom in 2017 when Katherine was born, followed by Spencer three years later — and she has yet to publicly disclose any details about the siblings’ paternity.
“Until I speak to my daughter about that, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it,” she explained to the New York Times in 2019.
The Tony winner noted in a 2022 interview with Marie Claire that she is not “bother[ed]” by “titillating” rumors that ex-boyfriend B.J. Novak is the father of her children.
“He’s the godparent to both my kids—and they have such a great relationship — and so far [the rumors haven’t] affected my happiness at all, it hasn’t affected my kids or B.J.,” she told the outlet.
The former couple dated from 2004 to 2007.
