When Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra was all set to release, SS Rajamouli came forward to promote the film by releasing a promo video introducing Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy world. On top of that, Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo helped the film get a major box-office boost. A similar help has come for Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD as many celebrities from Telugu cinema and beyond have come forward to do their part to promote the film.
SS Rajamouli has given his support for Kalki 2898 AD as well. The director has played a cameo in the film, which is one among the many surprise appearances in the film. On top of that, Rajamouli took to Instagram to share a message with Nag Ashwin and wished him the best for his ambition and vision.

Even Ram Gopal Varma, who is known for his caustic take on things, has come out in support of Nag Ashwin. Apart from playing a cameo, he has also tweeted, “Hey @nagashwin7 KUDOS to ur AMBITION and IMAGINATION. @srbachchan is a 100 times more dynamic than ever and Prabhas is in a never-before-seen avatar, and AHEM also THANKS for giving me my acting DEBUT.”

The support has also come from beyond the borders as Rakshit Shetty along with their wife shared pictures on Instagram with Bujji, the futuristic vehicle of Prabhas in Kalaki 2898 AD. Rakshit’s wife, sharing the picture on Instagram, wrote, “From our Bujji Gang. Wishing team @kalki2898ad All the Best.” Bujji was taken across many cities in the South including Chennai as part of the film promotion, which was a success as the fans thronged the venues to click a picture with it.

The biggest support seems to have come from Vijay Deverakonda, who has played a key role in the film. The actor, who worked with Nag Ashwin in Mahanati, has been a pillar of support to the film, and his presence has significantly helped the film as his fanbase has thronged to get a glimpse of the actor.
Looks like the whole of the Telugu film industry has come together to make sure that Kalki 2898 AD becomes a blockbuster to help Tollywood get out of the dull phase, and it seems to have worked as Kalki 2898 AD has minted Rs 180 crore on the first day. It is expected to break several box office records in the coming days with growing positive word-of-mouth reviews.
