Fans were in for many surprises while watching Kalki 2898 AD, which comes full of delightful cameos. A scroll through social media would spoil all such surprises except for one as even the fans who have watched the film were left wondering about the actor who played one particular character, Lord Krishna. Throughout the film, we get to see only the silhouette of the actor, which made the fans come up with many theories.
Many fans of Nani claimed that he was the one who plays Krishna in the film. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu fans want him to do the role in the second part. Amidst all these discussions, the actor who played the role had come forward with a post on Instagram.

It is actor Krishnakumar who plays Parthasarathi aka Krishna in the film. Popularly known as KK, the actor, who started his career as theatre artist, has acted in Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru as pilot Che, who is one of the three friends of the protagonist.
Sharing a picture from Kalki, KK wrote, “#kalki2898ad An absolute honour to be able to open an epic film, playing such a special character. Grateful (sic).”

Meanwhile, Kalki 2898 AD is deemed a hit as the film has collected Rs 180 crore on the opening day. With growing positive-word-of-mouth reviews, the film is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark effortlessly in the weekend. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is a dystopian sci-fi actioner set in a future India. Prabhas plays the role of a bounty hunter, who takes on a mission that takes him through a journey that’s beyond him.
