Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who had been dating for seven years, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai, on June 23. Their registered marriage was held in the presence of close family and friends at Sonakshi’s Bandra apartment, followed by a star-studded celebration at Mumbai’s Bastian. While Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, attended the big day and were seen at the reception, it was speculated that Sonakshi’s brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, were absent from the celebrations. Kussh, in a chat with News 18 Showsha, has refuted the rumours and said that he was present at the celebrations. He also mentioned that this was a “sensitive time for the family.” “I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who’s doing all this right now and where it’s coming from. But a few houses have my images (from the night),” he said.
He then added, “It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there.” Kussh insisted that he only had good wishes for his sister and added, “I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well.”

Earlier, Luv had refuted claims stating he was absent from his sister Sonakshi’s wedding and criticised the source of the report. He took to his Instagram Story to question the source of the report and wrote “A ‘Source’. They need better sources.”
The wedding reception saw attendance from celebrities like Salman Khan, Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Huma Qureshi, Tabu, Kajol, among others.
