Karan Singh Grover, one of Indian television most popular stars who has also acted in several Bollywood films, has, for the first time, opened up about is failed marriages with Jennifer Winget and Shraddha Nigam. He said it ‘”happened for the best”.  The actor is married to Bipasha Basu since 2016 and the couple are parents to their daughter Devi.

When Karan was asked about his divorces, he told The Times Of India, “There’s nothing good about a breakup or a divorce.” He also said that people move on, and realise that it “happened for the best” and that’s a “good thing”.”

This is the first time he has ever spoken about his failed marriages before tying the knot with Bipasha. He says, that he never felt the need to speak to anyone about what’s happening in his life because he doesn’t expect people to come and talk to him and share their life’s woes with him either. “That is not my main motive,” he said, and added, “I would like to spread some love and joy. Everyone has their own s**t to deal with and I think everyone deserves that kind of privacy to handle their own s**t.”

Karan and Bipasha met on the sets of Alone in 2015 and fell in love. The couple tied the knot on April 30, 2016. They welcomed their daughter Devi in November 2022. Before getting married to Bipasha, Karan Singh Grover was married twice. Karan married actress Shraddha Nigam in 2008. He then met actor Jennifer Winget on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye and started dating. They tied the knot in 2012, and filed for divorce after 10 months of their marriage.

Talking about his marriage with Bipasha and their daughter Devi, Karan shared that the relationship “transformed” him. He said, “I know myself today because of her. The change that has happened is so drastic.” He said he used to be a “nocturnal being” before his life changed for the good. He says he now wakes up at 5 a.m., “wanting to see every sunrise and every sunset.”
