Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s happiness knew no bounds when he realised his favourite snack was available for delivery on the online food delivery platform, Swiggy. The actor shared his excitement on Instagram, and what followed made him even happier.
On Wednesday, Abhishek shared an Instagram Story featuring the menu of Mumbai’s famous outlet Mamledar Misal, available for delivery on Swiggy. He pointed out his favorite snack, Mamledar Misal Pav, the outlet’s best-selling item, priced at Rs 90. He wrote, “Oh Swiggy, I love you. #BestMisalInTheWorld.”
Swiggy responded to Abhishek Bachchan with a heartwarming gesture. They not only thanked him for his acknowledgment on social media but also delivered his favourite snack to his house, Jalsa, in Mumbai. The platform’s online portal shared a fun video referring to Abhishek’s character ACP Jai Dixit from the blockbuster trilogy Dhoom. The caption read, “Oh @bachchan we love you too.” Abhishek, known for his wit, immediately responded with a cheeky message: “Arresting y’all for delivering the yummiest misal.”

Last year, in a conversation with the food blogging platform Yum Yum Kitchen, Abhishek Bachchan called misal his favorite dish and named Mamledar Misal as his go-to place. He said, “I am a big misal fry person. Every morning, when I am shooting, I eat it. For me, the best misal comes from Thane. There is a place called Mamledar Misal.”
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in Remo D’Souza’s Be Happy, which will also star his father Amitabh Bachchan and Nora Fatehi.
