Actor Adarsh Gourav, who was recently seen in the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, opened up about his experience meeting Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. In the 2010 film ‘My Name is Khan’ by Karan Johar, Gourav, who was only 14 years old at the time, played the character of a young Shah Rukh Khan. However, Gourav said that he could not meet SRK when he was shooting for My Name is Khan and revealed that he met him for the first time only recently.

On Humans of Bombay, Gourav said that was really excited about meeting SRK and going to America when he got the call for the film. Unfortunately, neither of these happened, and he ended up shooting in Mumbai without meeting SRK. He said, “I was very excited to meet Shah Rukh Khan, and I never met him until a month ago after being in the same film because I was playing his younger version, so there was no overlap.”

Opening up about his experience meeting Shah Rukh, the actor said, “I finally met SRK. My knees were  trembling when I was talking to him. It was insane. I thought I’d collapsed to the ground.”

Gourav said that SRK was very composed and he even recognised him as he had watched Guns and Gulaabs. He said, “He was so calm and so chill. He had seen Guns and Gulaabs. So even before I could introduce myself, he told me who I am. So, which is why I was even more shocked. I was like, how is this happening? He’s such a great man to talk to. Great energy.”

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is currently streaming on Netflix. The film also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
