On Sunday, the whole world celebrated Father’s Day by sharing special posts dedicating to their dads on social media. However, the one post that caught everybody’s attention was that of Nick Jonas. His special post for his late father-in-law Ashok Chopra is winning hearts. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Nick Jonas who has never met him in person, shared a throwback photo of his wife Priyanka Chopra with her father and penned an emotional note.
The American pop-singer wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to my father in law Ashok Chopra. Although we never had the chance to meet in person I feel so deeply connected to you through you daughter and your grand daughter. We all love you very much.” He also tagged Priyanka Chopra in the post.

Nick Jonas’ special post for his father-in-law is winning the internet. A fan page of the actor-singer, jerryxmimi, shared a screenshot of his Instagram story on its handle, it was soon flooded with various comments from fans.
A user wrote, “That is so sweet of him. OM Ghosh, I am gonna cry”. Another user wrote, “This made me emotional.” “This is so sweet and thoughtful”, commented another Instagrammer.

Apart from wishing his father-in-law, Nick Jonas also shared a post for his father Kevin Jonas, Sr. Sharing a photo of his father with Malti Marie, the actor-singer wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to the greates dad/grand dad in the world. Love you.”
Similarly, Priyanka Chopra too took to her Instagram Stories to share posts for her late father as well as father-in-law.
Sharing a post for her father Ashok Chopra, Priyanka wrote, “Dearest papa – You’re always with me in my heart. Miss you papa.”

The actress is currently in Australia with her daughter Malti for the shoot of The Bluff. Meanwhile, Nick Jonas recently attended the 77th edition of The Tony Awards as one of its presenters alongside Adrienne Warren. He will soon be seen in the film The Good Half.
Ashok Chopra, who retired from the army in 1997 as a lieutenant colonel, breathed his last on June 10, 2013, at the age of 62. He was undergoing treatment for cancer in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
