After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar surprised the lead star Kartik Aaryan and gifted Kartik Aayan a luxurious McLaren GT worth Rs 4.72 crore. The success of the film was celebrated widely as back in 2022, very few Hindi films managed to make a mark on the box office. But, despite getting such a luxurious gift from his film producer, Kartik couldn’t enjoy it much.
In an interview with The Lallantop, Kartik revealed that he could not drive his McLaren because rats bit the car’s mat. He said, “I drive my other car. I have driven hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time so rats chewed the mat which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix the mat.”

Sharing a couple of photos where he was seen posing along with his new car, he had written on Instagram, “Chinese khaane ke liye nayi table gift mil gayi 🍜🚗 Mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai suna tha..Itna bada hoga nahi pata tha ❤️ India’s 1st McLaren Gt 🥹 Agla gift Private jet sir 😂 #Gratitude 🙏🏻 📸- @prathameshb84 @tejas.kudtarkar @bombaytimes.”
Before Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik and Bhushan had first collaborated on the 2018 hit film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success they collaborated on Shehzada with Kriti Sanon. However, the film did not make a mark at the box office.

Kartik will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. He is also collaborating for Bhushan Kumar for the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which will release later this year.
