Just days before streaming the new season of Bigg Boss OTT, JioCinema took to its official social media handles to tease a new host. A 25 seconds long video features a man walking in style in red shoes while clips from previous seasons run in the background. Suddenly, this man, no points for guessing, Anil Kapoor whistles and says, “Kursi manga re…” Soon a voiceover is heard saying, “Kuch karte hai na jhakaas,” to which Anil Kapoor replies, “Bahaut hogaya re jhakaas, karte hain na kuch aur khaas.” The video also revealed that the show will start streaming in June. However, the premiere date is yet to be revealed.
Sharing the promo, JioCinema wrote, “A new host for the new season of Bigg Boss OTT! Aur Bigg Boss ki tarha, inki awaaz hi kaafi hai. P.S. – No prizes for guessing.”
While Karan Johar hosted the first season of Bigg Boss OTT, Salman Khan turned host for the second season of Bigg Boss OTT.

Soon after the announcement, fans took to the comments section of the promo to express their excitement. One of the fans wrote. “BB ka Nayak.” Others were just curious if JioCinema will continue to show the second season without subscription. This will be Anil Kapoor’s first time as a host. It will be interesting to see what new element he brings to the reality show.
Though now the makers have confirmed that this time around Anil Kapoor will be hosting the controversial show, this was not the case in April.
In April, the production house Endemol Shine India took to its official Instagram handle to announce Bigg Boss OTT 3. The production house shared a poster in which not Anil Kapoor but Salman Khan was seen pointing towards the audience as he asked, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT.” However, the post was deleted later.
